“Love Your Enemies”

Luke 6:27-38

Epiphany 7C, February 23rd, 2025

What is the message about? . . .

In today’s world, we see a high awareness and focus on transactional thinking. Giving with an expectation of getting something in return. It must be a good “deal” for us or why do it?  You see it in relationships, business and other areas of life. It’s common every day to find social media posts that say things like, “I’m going to stop doing things for people who don’t do things for me!”  Are healthy, fulfilling relationships based on transactional thinking? Is there a difference between transactional and relational thinking? What does Jesus have to say about it?  Let’s see if we can figure out what Jesus meant when he said, “Love your enemies.”  See you Sunday!
