“The Father Will Send The Holy Spirit”

What is the message about? . . .

I had a conversation earlier this week with a young man about being baptized. I asked if he had any questions. “Yes” he said, “What is the meaning of the Trinity?” Seekers and Christians alike sometimes struggle with the concept of the father, the son and the holy spirit. Is it one God? Three Gods? Jesus explains in this Gospel story in John about the Advocate, the Holy Spirit. This Sunday we will talk about a core doctrine of Christianity that affirms the unity and diversity of God. Let’s learn more about the triune essence of God that Jesus is talking about.
