As Disciples of Christ, we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and that Christians are free to follow their conscience guided by Bible study, the Holy Spirit, and prayer. This freedom should be extended to all.

Vision

At First Christian Church we strive to be a community of people following the teachings of Jesus by making disciples, connecting with people from all walks of life, sharing the good news of the gospel, serving others with compassionate understanding, and continuously growing in our faith.

Communion

The Lord’s Supper is celebrated in weekly worship. All are welcome at the Table to remember and celebrate our Savior, Jesus Christ. The practice of Holy Communion has become the central element of worship within the Disciples of Christ tradition.

Baptism

Baptism is a public act by which the church proclaims God’s grace, as revealed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, through the use of a visible sign of God’s gracious initiative and the human individual’s response in faith.
