“Grace before Gratitude“

Luke 17:11-19

Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost, October 12th, 2025

What is the message about?...

 Ten people with leprosy cry out to Jesus for mercy—and all ten are healed.  But only one, a Samaritan outsider, turns back to say, “thank you.”  In this story, Jesus shows that God’s grace doesn’t wait for our gratitude.  Healing comes before the thank you note.  Love reaches us long before we deserve it or even recognize it.

This Sunday, I’ll share a message called Grace Before Gratitude, exploring how grace always moves first—and how gratitude transforms healing into relationships.  What happens when we forget to give thanks?  What changes when we truly see that everything we have begins with grace?  Join us for worship as we discover the power of gratitude that grows from grace.  See you Sunday!
