Luke 15:1-10
Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost, September 14th, 2025
What is the message about?...
Do you ever feel disoriented, as if you don’t even recognize what’s happening around you? Or maybe you sense that your time isn’t being used well, that life is slipping through your fingers. It can feel like failure hangs over us, unseen by others, and no one really understands where we are coming from. In Luke 15:1–10, Jesus tells two stories—about a lost sheep and a lost coin—that remind us we are never beyond God’s notice. The eternal power of the universe, the One who created and sustains all things, is also the One who searches for us with relentless love. When we are lost, God is not indifferent. God comes to find us, to bring us back, and to restore us with peace and joy. This is the good news: you are seen, you are sought, and heaven itself rejoices when you are found. Let’s dive deeper into God’s love for the lost this Sunday. See you there!
