“Love One Another”

John 13:31-35

Fifth Sunday of Easter, May 18th, 2025

What is the message about? . . .

The meaning of life.  Jesus’s last wish of his earthly life was that his disciples would love one another.  This commandment appears a dozen or more times in the New Testament.  Jesus describes it as the one thing upon which all of the law and all of the prophets rely.  The love that Jesus modeled for his disciples, is the love that we are to mirror back to him and to others.  For followers of Christ, the call is to show selfless, unconditional love to all, including those who are not traditionally well loved in society.  Don’t we all have a desire for belonging and connection?  Love brings meaning and purpose to life.  Let’s talk about Love on Sunday morning.  See you there!
